CosmoTippingComp 2026/27

English Premier League (EPL) Tipping Competition

Standards & Expectations

  • Fun First: With over twenty years of tradition, the main rule of the Tipping Competition is that it’s all about having fun.
  • Fair Play: All participants are expected to submit their tips to the best of their ability and uphold fair play throughout the competition.
  • Acceptance of Rules: By joining, every player agrees to these Standards and Expectations.
  • Entry Fee: The cost to enter and participate is $13.16 per round.
  • Administration Fee: The organiser receives a 5% administration fee from the total entry fee pool for managing the competition. The organiser is no longer entitled to a free entry.
  • Registration: Players must register by email at istvan@cosmotippingcomp.com and provide accurate email and mobile phone details.
  • Single Entry & No Collusion: Players may only enter once and must not collude with others to influence outcomes.

How the Competition Works

  • Registered players submit tips for the 2025-26 EPL season matches.
  • For each match, players select one of the following Tipping Options:
  • Option 1: Home Team to win outright – select: (1)
  • Option 2: Away Team to win outright (2)
  • Option 3: Draw between Home and Away Team (X)

Tips can be submitted either by replying to the tipping slip email or via the Tipping page on https://cosmotippingcomp.com/.

Only one tip per match is allowed per player.

All tips must be submitted before the stated deadline on the tipping slip.

If a player misses the deadline, they will automatically be assigned all home team selections for that round.

Once all players’ tips are published by email and on the website, no changes can be made.

Scoring and Prizes

  • Points are awarded for correct tips. The player with the most points wins the round, and the overall winner is determined by the total points over the season.
  • Prize money distribution is available on the Ranks page. Winners will receive prizes only after all entry fees have been collected.
  • If multiple players finish in the same money-winning place on the ranks at the end of the season, the player with the most correct tips gets the prize. If tied, the tie-breaker is the higher “average points per correct tips” score. If it’s still tied, then the prize gets shared.
  • It’s encouraged (but not required) for the overall winner to donate some prize money to fund an end-of-season celebration dinner for all participants.

Disputes and Final Note

  • The organiser and Tipping Competition Life Members will settle any disputes.
  • And above all, remember: having fun remains the most important rule. Enjoy!
